Orange County Photographer Recognized And Honored For Her Volunteer Work

Back in December of 2009 Orange County photographer Carol Bridges volunteered her time and services to the Winter Wonderland event which benefited families of those who serve in the United States military. The event itself was a huge success and there were many families who benefited from Carol's kindheartedness. As a result of her willingness to give back and great work in December of last year the Orange County photographer has been honored by the Rancho Santa Margarita city Council.

In the council chamber it was standing room only last Wednesday night as nearly 100 people arrived for a number of student and volunteer recognitions of which Carol was one of them. The Orange County photographer was recognized for taking photos of children with Santa and providing each family with 5 x 7 prints of those photo shoots. Carol remains proud of her volunteer work and continues to express a great happiness in being able to help members of her community through difficult times especially during the holidays. The pictures she took not only pleased children but gave parents both here and abroad something to smile at during the holiday season.

Carol was extremely grateful for the recognition the Rancho Santa Margarita city Council gave to her and anxiously looks forward to donating more of her time to a worthwhile and local cause similar to the Winter Wonderland event she has been recognized for. This is a great cause! I'm ashamed to say that we thought of doing something similiar but got caught up in other volunteer work (for Share Our Selves and USARC). Photography is a great contribution and I'm sure everyone loved their photos.
